Record Store Day

Record Store Day is an annual event held on a Saturday in April to celebrate independently owned record stores as well as their unique culture, staff, customers, and artists. This year to celebrate, Rein Records is holding a pop-up shop and co-sponsored open mic with Music Industry Club at the Sheffield Gazebo. At the shop, there will be the compilation album All at Once which was released in December of 2022, Rein Records t-shirts, stickers, and the single “Happy” by newly signed artist Ayminor, who will have a special performance at 2pm. The open mic is open to anyone who signs up and will be limited to two songs as well as needing to provide any instrumentals. This event is also a silent marketing opportunity to bring awareness of Rein Records to the campus, as many people are unaware there is a student-run record label.
